KCBASS History: Sandor is part of the DC family as he was always at George Vance Camps in DC. His laugh was always part of the amazing week. He also has taught the International Society of Bassists Young Bassists young program as well as run the competition for the ISB. He also has always helped kc bass from afar and a good person for Johnny to bounce ideas off. A truly wonderful resource. Sandor early bass teachers was Hans Sturm which is really cool when they are working together. Sandor has also made these amazing excerpt videos to help young bassists go from solo George Vance Repertoire to orchestral pieces. They are just so fantastic even if you are not auditioning for that specific ensemble. The Mahler one should be shown to every bass player in vol. 1.

Super cool tidbit is that kcbass faculty Maxwell was doing his Masters with Sandor at Baylor. Check out this amazing piece they perform.

Stunning pieces that Sandor records with his amazing playing.
